The Magic Behind the Pixels
The session focused on exploring essential authentication and authorization technologies like OAuth 2.0, SAML, and OIDC, along with newer solutions such as passkeys and digital credentials. We delved into the role of Identity Providers (IdPs), JWTs, and effective password management practices. We also examined how tools like the Credential Manager API, Google Wallet, and Digital Asset Links contribute to improved security. Lastly, we discussed how seamless credential sharing can lead to more secure and user-friendly sign-ins.
